I'm Erin Plant, the designer and creator of all things Too Many Pjs. Before I became a mother, I worked as a textile designer in the London fashion industry for over 10 years, giving me a wealth of experience in textile design and sewing techniques.

After having my first child, I created a sensory play mat for my son, using various fabrics that I had designed myself. I couldn’t find anything like it on the market, and my friends absolutely loved the handmade mats, begging me to make them one too. And so, the Too Many Pjs journey began!

From the sensory play mats, the Too Many Pjs range soon evolved into eco baby toys, nursery decor, and clothing as well. All of the eco friendly baby toys that I create utilise textural fabrics that stimulate a baby's senses, and contribute to their cognitive and fine motor skill development.

My designs incorporate retro inspired colours and nursery themes which are intended to compliment the modern home rather than clash with it. I design the printed textiles and interior decor to go along with these themes. For example, the muted colours and vintage inspiration of the peace sign play mats and happy camper cot bed fitted sheet designs are favourites for those with a retro nursery theme, while the complementary colours of the bestselling milestone blocks and sensory alphabet blocks work together to accentuate any stylish nursery decor.

At the heart of the Too Many Pjs brand is sustainability. I believe in living a sustainable lifestyle and want to keep the waste and environmental damage caused by the textile industry to a minimum. I do this by using only GOTS certified organic fabrics and sustainable materials. All of the inks used on the textiles are eco-friendly pigment inks that are also non toxic. The eco baby toys, activity cubes and play mats are filled with a wadding material made from recycled plastic bottles. I aim to have a net zero business and offset the carbon released in delivering orders as well as offer you the option to make your delivery climate positive.

Most importantly, I hope that your family will enjoy the eco friendly baby products that I make for years to come, passing the timeless toys down through generations.
